Karen Patterson has spent over 25 years helping people navigate stressful situations and difficult experiences. She is passionate about helping people find ways to manage conflict.

Karen Patterson, BA, AccFM, CPMed, is an Accredited Family Mediator and has been working in the Human Services industry for over 30 years. Much of her work has been supporting families and individuals who are dealing with crises in their lives. She is passionate about the work that she does and is able to bring a sense of calm and reasonableness during times of intense tension. Karen provides court-based mediation services in the Nipissing District and has been responsible for bringing closure anda new level of cooperation to over 400 separating families since 2011. Karen is a soon-to-be empty nester who lives in the beautiful District of Muskoka with her husband, children, and her feisty dog.
